Hello there, my marriage took place in last December and now I am moved to Norway in the month of March. My wife stays in Mumbai with my parents. But as the days are passing we figured out our marriage is not working anymore it's in irretrievable breakdown of marriage position. So we want mutual divorce or nullify this marriage as soon as possible. nPlease do help me about the process and procedures. Thanks

If you have agreed to a mutual divorce you can file for mutual divorce. you have to file for mutual divorce after ur term and conditions and that terms and conditions have to be mentioned before the court. Then there will be counselling done for you. After sending the counselling if you still agree to go for divorce the next date is kept it takes normally 3/4 dates to get divorce.

The overall procedure relating to mutual Divorce lasts approximately 6 months from the first date of hearing. The divorce petition first has to be filed in the family court. Next, one or two counselling sessions take place between the parties. Finally the consent terms are filed before the Court and the Court grants Divorce decree.
