Hi,

Be advised that despite employment status, an husband cannot escape from maintenance. However, if employment details are available, it will help to effectively counter maintenance claim. Don't hesitate to reach out to me in case of doubt.

Hello,

If she has suppressed the fact that she is working and has claimed maintenance, the court will consider that behavior while passing order and you may get a a favorable order. You can file an application contending that the wife has suppressed the fact of her employment and getting salary. You may also file the her working location , official mail ID, employee ID as evidence.

I will need more details to give you an specific advice for you situation, contact me for further advice.

You can mention all the details in your Counter. The Court will believe you. Also you can ask your Lawyer to write to her Company HR and ask for her details. You can only make an attempt. Also your wife will have to explain why she is not working now. For any further advice and guidance kindly contact me.
