Filing the divorce petition first

16-Apr-2024 (In Divorce Law)
I have filed 498A against my husband against domestic violence towards me. There is no mediation happening between us.Now I don't know what will be best action to take.Should I go for contested divorce? Or I should wait for him to file? What will be the pros and cons if I file it first. Will my daughter get what she deserves? in terms of monetary support from her father? Or I will be at downside in this process?
