False rumours being spread by wife and her family what are my rights

Sir, I a hindu indian Citizen married in march-2016.I returned alone to my job abroad in march end and since then my wife started troubling me and my family(mom and brothers) by unnecessarily giving false information to her father and mother that we are troubling her.Infact her mother spreading this message to all our relatives which has spoiled our name and fame among all my relatives. she went to her mom's place since april and till now almost 4 months over still she is there only. i have not seen her since then and neither she contacted me. indian law in womens favour so pls advice.
Dear client if yr wife and her family spreading false rummors then u can file complaint against her in women cell of police. Also u can file divorce on the ground of cruelty against wife in court after completion of one year of marriage. For any legal help call me
