sir, in my family one of my sister in law complaints a false case on domestic violence against our all family members. what shall we do. my brother is an government service holder, is any problem for him? plz give us some solution
As per your query it is advisable that you get an anticipatory bail. Domestic violence against one's wife is punished as "cruelty" under Section 498A of the IPC. The offence is non-bailable and an anticipatory bail may be applied for prior to one's arrest. If he gets arrested and has to stay in police custody for more that 48hours then he might lose his job.
