Wife does not have any contact or address of husband,court passed exparte order against husband in June 25 what will be the next step or procedure by court or wife.what step should I take pls guide.should I leave my state as I don't have money to pay maintenance.

If an ex-parte order is passed, the husband can apply to set aside the order by showing valid reasons for non-appearance. Leaving the state will not help. You must file an application before the same court to challenge or seek modification of the maintenance order, citing your financial condition and inability to pay. The court will consider your income, liabilities, and circumstances before deciding the quantum. Act promptly, as delay may weaken your case.
