Your case involves cheating, bigamy, and financial coercion. Since you both are Hindus, and he was already legally married before marrying you, your marriage is void under Section 17 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and he can be prosecuted for bigamy under Section 494 IPC. Legal Steps You Can Take: 1. File a Police Complaint – Lodge an FIR for bigamy (Section 494 IPC), cheating (Section 415/420 IPC), and cruelty (Section 498A IPC) at your local police station. 2. Annulment or Divorce – Since his marriage with you is void, you can file for annulment under Section 11 of the Hindu Marriage Act or divorce under cruelty. 3. Restrain Financial Exploitation – If he is forcing you to hand over your salary, you can file a complaint under domestic violence laws for financial abuse. 4. Property & Maintenance Claims – If you shared any assets or expenses during marriage, you can seek interim maintenance and compensation. 5. Protect Yourself Legally – If he threatens or harasses you, consider a restraining order under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Would you like assistance in drafting a police complaint or annulment petition?

since his marriage held prior to your introduction, it is in force, the marriage said to be held among you both is invalid. hence you are advised to think about getting freedom from the invalid matrimonial relationship with him. Settle the matter by initiating steps through the police or a good advocate in your locality.
