Dowry and harassments case on parents.

Greetings Everyone,n I hope this email finds you well. Can you please advise what are the consequence can happen if my parents come to India from Canada.If my ex wife files dowry and harassments case on me and my family, but i reside in Canada, my parents come back to India from Canada but they go and settle in some other city without telling anyone. What will happen to that dowry case. Will they be safe to that city or not, will they be called criminal? If they go and settle down in a new state and after that my ex-wife files fake dowry and harassments casePlease adviseWith Regards.Anonymous

your ex file can't file a dowry case , the dowry case can be filed during subsistence of marriage. if your ex wife harasses your parents, you can file a court case to restrain her or your parents can lodge a criminal complaint
