Don't want divorce but due to domestic violence want to apply for seperation and child Custody.. son is 13 and daughter 11 will I get custody and how much time will it take. Thankyou

If you don't want divorce from your spouse then it's not at all compulsory to file petition for divorce. without filing for divorce you can file judicial separation if you are not a Muslim by religion. Without applying for judicial separation you can apply for the custody of children. you also have the option of filing a complaint of domestic violence without obtaining divorce from your spouse
