Do you need to keep deposit in family court for divorce

14-Oct-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, My lawyer that I am using is saying if I deposit certain amount of cash with the family court in Mysore, he can help me close this case for a certain amount as settlement with the other party within 3 months. IS there any kind of deposit that you can keep with the court for the divorce case?

Your lawyer is foolish you, To reach any settlement in Divorce ask the court refer for mediation, if settlement is reached in the mediation, the court will pass the Divorce Order after full filling the settlement among the parties before the court.

Dear friend,
Your query is not specific neither clear of what has been averted , if any deposit as permanent alimony etc would be done by order of court and hence you should consult in proper way to any lawyer with exact detail...this portal is only for the indication to what and where you can get a good lawyer/ lawyers and basics of law but not for solving individual problems online...please understand this....if any one is doing so that are doing at their own risk... Understand one thing ...legal issues like surgery is life affecting and comes only once , it should not be repeated again and again.... OFC : Adv Pankaj Kumar & associate...

I don't advise you to deposit any amount as I am unaware of such practice. If you wish to settle the matter, you can have the case referred to the Mediation Center and pursue a settlement with the assistance of the Mediation.
