Do I Need to File a Separate Petition for Child Custody After a Mutual

23-Sep-2024 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, I recently went through a mutual divorce. In the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), my ex-wife agreed to give me custody of the children while retaining visitation rights. Do I need to file a separate petition for custody?
