divorce from my husband of 17 years and i want almony too

i want to take divorce from my husband .....he keeps asking for money....according to him i should pay for all the bills and he will spend his slary the way he wants

You need to come to terms as a couple. Sharing is caring. plus females are now looking for equality in many aspects. So finance distributing factors also needs to be reconsidered. Still, if both of you aren't working, he cannot compel you to pay for his bills and expenses. If you're earning, you can move out and seek better opportunities. you are not responsible for any amount to be paid to your husband first you left your husband house and proceed for maintenance application in local court where you live after that you will be asked for divorce by your husband
