Divorce filed by husband, want to file divorce with alimony

Divorce filed by my husband, I’m also filed W/S , I also want to divorce with alimony. I want to know - what is the procedure ? It’s a counter file in same case? Or it’s file another case against husband’s case with another case number?

if you both want divorce then you can establish a line of communication with your husband either directly or through his counsel. it is always better to settle the terms mutually and then get a mutual divorce and get rid of the relationship easier and faster. for this you won't have to file any separate case the present application would get converted into a mutual divorce proceeding and decreed accordingly regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
