Divorce case regarding courier hearing

18-Feb-2026 (In Divorce Law)
My husband remains absent during the court proceedings and only his lawyer is representing, how long will the court allow this absence? I haven't asked for any alimony nor do I have to apply for child custody.

so if you have applied for mutual divorce and the advocate is appearing for two consecutive dates without his client and without a valid reason you or your advocate can file objection and make prayer to the court to proceed x- party order.

Ask your advocate to say this in the court and state therein that his absence all the time is nothing but merely a technique to delay the case so the court may send the summon to your husband or issue a show cause or pass a stricter order that bounds him to appear on the next date.
