Cut of salary to be considered for deciding the final maintenance

Hi SirInterim maintenance was decided based on the 2019 salary slip and we separated in 2018. Just now I got final maintenance just double the amount on assumption of increased salary. I wanted to go to high court to challenge the order but wanted to know if date of separation will be considered for deciding the final maintenance or latest salary ? I have already placed by salary slip on record in 2019 but Court ordered on assumptions.

From the facts narrated by you, it is appears that you wish to approach high court for enhancement of maintenance awarded by court below. Infact maintenance decided by court depends upon various circumstances such as income, liabilities, etc. For deciding maintenance, court need latest income proof. If you are not satisfied with the maintenance passed by lower court, you can approach high court in revision.
