Court is sending for Counselling

03-Sep-2024 (In Divorce Law)
My husband filed for a divorce. But suddenly in the court hearing he said he wants to reunite. The court is sending us for counselling.. I do not want to stay with him as he is physically abusive. What happens in counselling in this case where one partner wants to stay and the other doesn't. How should I tackle this situation

Mention to the counsellor about the abusive nature of your husband and the reasons why it is not possible to cohabit with him and most importantly that the husband himself has filed for divorce. Also mention to the counsellor that you are ready and willing to get separated from your husband you're fine with a mutual consent divorce.
