Yes, you can file divorce against your husband. Alongwith it you can claim maintenance from your husband for you and your children. Madam, as your husband is treating you with cruelty, there are provisions in the Hindu marriage Act. for such cases and you can seek divorce from the court on these grounds of cruelty. there are also provisions for the divorce by consent of both the parties. In your case you have to move petition before the court and ask for justice and divorce.

Dear Concerned, sorry to know your state of affairs. Under Sec. 13 of Hindu marriage act, file a divorce petition in a family court. Further emphasize the grounds that you were forced to discontinue your studies by your husband. In case you are from Hyderabad/Secundrabad you may approach us, we do provide legal assistance in such cases.
