Chances of a working woman getting alimony

Hi.. Will I get alimony? Issue in marriage due to mother in law and husband's torture.. got abortion because of them. He and I ve got our masters degree.. he has a flourishing family business and I work full time. Should I fight the case , considering that I m educated and working . His status and mine is no match. I m from middle class family and he is affluent , he has couple of properties in his name. Considering the mental torture which I can prove. Will I be given alimony ?
Whether or not you are willing to move for a Divorce, you have all right to claim maintenance or alimony accordingly. The very fact that your husband is comparatively more affluent gives you every right to claim a similar status as that of him by demanding alimony. You need to be successful in establishing the said fact of his better well being in the Court through appropriate and relevant evidence.
