Can wife file case against me after getting mutual divorce

Yes my friend,
Wife can file cases as and when they want ,and most of time while registering such case neither police nor even magistrate taken notice of the complexity and they can file case on basis of cruelty done over them when she was living with you adding few concocted story of recent .hence case can be filed .yes there are remedy avaikable in lawfor I as well but at higher court and if fought well with legal aspect strictly.we have come across similar case where mutual divorce happened few years ago yet dva and maintenance case was filed by ex wife. Sir,
It depends on the settlement made between both of you at the time of getting divorce. In case if you have settled all her future maintenance and other accounts, she can't file any case against you. Mere obtaining divorce without settling future maintenance gives a chance to your divorced wife to file a case against you.

You should be safe. Hopefully you must have paid permanent alimony, even otherwise it is safe if u obtain mutual consent divorce. In case if she files any police compliant take the consent petition and the decree of dissolution of marriage with u, will not have a case, chances are very remote, you should not be worrying.
