Can wife claim share in ancestral property in divorce case

17-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Hi, my Parents disowned me from their self owned and ancestral property. And i know that further a suit can be filled against the share in ancestral property. But i do not want any share in either ancestral or self owned. Now I'm planing to file divorce case against my wife. Is she illegible for asking share in ancestral or self owned property of my parents?

Hey, No your wife cannot ask share from your father's Property .
You can still ask for property rights even if you are disowned as it is ancestral property.

Hi, the cases filed by your wife may be regarding maintenance, child custody and share in property acquired by her assistance. She can't claim in ancestral property. Moreover you are disowned by your parents too. So nothing to worry much. Thanks
