Can we ask maintenance in Divorce petition

I want to file divorce petition can I ask to return my streedhan and for maintenance in same petition. Or i should have file separately for maintenance.

Section 27 of the Hindu Marriage Act permits recovery of Stridhan as part of a divorce petition or separate application in the family court also seek maintenance, residence rights, and custody of children along with Stridhan recovery.

hi, before answering pl let me know the below details do you have children? if so what's their age since how long you are married ? what's your profession? you can file Divorce petition and in the same we can ask for maintenance. for betterment we can file maintenance case since it's a criminal case with civil nature.
