Can video recordings be used as evidence in divorce proceedings

My in laws hv put cameras all over except in private rooms.as im being mentally tortured and hubby lives separately under same roof.the condition heads towards divorce.there hv been arguments and quarrels with mom and sis.can they use those recorded clippings against me hiding their own faults and mistakes?

For the query you posted,I would suggest the following:

Such vedio recordings can be used as evidence but can as well be proved doctored.
For the same you need to proceed in your defence accordingly and earlier than them.

The video recordings can be definitely used against you if something negative comes out of it.As per Indian evidence act there is clear cut provision U/s 65B for using electronic evidences.Therefore if it is such a stage then you should take some precautionary action against the in laws.

Hi, even if such things may be used by them for the purpose of evidence, but you also may have your defence regarding it. Only the analysis of situations under which such quarrels happened would be the proof against you.
