Madam,
No. Your husband cannot file for divorce before 1 year of marriage. Further, the reasons stated by you are not the valid grounds for seeking divorce. In order to save the marriage, engage in talks with your husband and in-laws with the help of your parents and well-wishers. Also, meet expert marriage counselor for help. If divorce is imminent after 1 year, convince your husband for mutual consent divorce and if your husband is ready for the same, claim permanent alimony along with marriage expenses. However, if you husband is not ready for MCD, you can you file domestic violence case against your husband referring about his cruelty and claim compensation for his harassment and in the same petition, you can mention about the dowry given at the time of marriage. The court will direct your husband to pay you the compensation.
