Can minor child in mother's custody claim share in father's property

As per Hindu law father is the guardian of the child, custody is only the provision for the good nourishment of the child.the child whether
legitimate illegitimate it has the equal right to the property of the father. please rate us as well as if require any more information please

The right of the minor child cannot be taken away and she has right to claim maintenance from her father and she has right to claim in grandfather\'s or grandmother\'s property. But with regard to father\'s self owned property the child has no right till father is alive and she can only claim maintenance at present
