Can earning wife claim maintenance if husband earns more than her

I have been married for only 2 years and I don't have kid and my husband has filed a divorce and I am earning Rs 25000 per month. Can I claim maintenance from my husband?

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, yes you can apply and seek for maintenance though your salary is 25000, there is no such bar, you can compute your husbands salary and demand a portion of it as an alimony or maintenance every month, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications
