Can children file for divorce on behalf of parents

11-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Since my birth, it is my mother who looked after me and my sister. My father is a drunkard. so got job as a govt teacher. But my father started doing thefts from home now and then for his drinking Now as myself and my sister moved away to different places on our jobs, she is left alone with him. so now he got much opportunity for thefting and all However, now he started domestic violence with herI suggested divorce. But since she stands a good position in society, she doesnt want police come home on investigation and all. However, my father also doesnt accept the divorce. how can we file.

Hi
Your mother should file a case for domestic violence and Divorce.
now that you are all grown up, the case can be solved without
a) police coming to house(but your mother has to come to police station twice , we can assist your mother) and
b) Divorce- will get your mother divorce and also settle alimony and maintenance with in 1 year.
no worries. we will complete the process without any impact to your mother's social standing in the society.
