Can a foreigner stay in india after divorce

hello , i m foreign married to an indian citizen, we married 2014 but due to his bad behaviour after drinking we got separated in january 2016. i m living in mumbai he in delhi.. so as passed more then 1 year we get separated we want to divorce by mutual understanding , so my question is my x visa will be finish in end of may how i can stay in india till we dont get divorce as we want to go court in april 1st week to start process.and after we get divorce can i stay in india getting employment visa from here not going to europe to apply? thanks
