Brother in-law torturing wife what action can be taken

sir, my brother in law married my sister though his father dislikes my sister, now they both are harnessing my sister. Not letting her call us, beating her, giving her mental torture. what we supposed to do in this situation, can we lodge the complain against them. if we do so it will lead to divorce. we are worried about my sisters life and her 1 year child. please help us out with your suggestions thanking you
Sir hello whts ur opinion u want u send ur sister to her in laws house or else not file a complaint in the court harassment I e 498a.dvc case against them to get relief from does ur sister have children if so file dvc for maintain ence

File the following cases against your Brother in law and his parents
a) 498A and Dowry Prohibition case.
b) Domestic Violence case.
c) Maintenance case under Section 125 of Cr.P.C for both your sister and the 1 year chid.
Please file the 498A and Domestic violence case at women's cell of police station near your residence. Police will then book the cases against your brother in law and his parents and teach them a proper lesson
