Dear sir
If both parties agree then thats the end of the matter legally. You may file for a mutual divorce which can be decided within 6 months.
However, if this doesnt pan out then you may file for a contested divorce petition which will be contested by your wife and her family and that may lead to a prolonged litigation spread over years.

Family's consent isn't required as per Hindu marriage act. You should take girls consent and move forward with a joint application if not already filed. Of the application is filed, you can press for disposal of the same first.

The only person who you require to convince is your wife. In case that fails you may file for a divorce under hma if Hindu.there are no other options but to contest as to why the marriage should be dissolved .questions such as marriage has been consummated or not will have to be answered
