Asking maintance and do not want to stay with me.

I wife do not want to stay with me and want to stay at her parents home. And she is asking for monthly some amount as a maintance. We r not divorced. Will I am liable to pay any amount if she dont stay with me.I Told her if u dont stay with me and leaving me in this situation(My health condition is not good) why I should pay u.

Yes, a husband can still be legally liable to pay maintenance even if the wife is not living with him, unless he proves that she is living separately without sufficient and reasonable cause.
