An NRI staying abroad Have give power of Attorney to Relative in India

Husband name on wife's documents like Addar Car, Pan Card, Ration Card, Passport, can be changed to her father's after name after obtaining the divorce certificate from the court or any competent authorities, the change of name can be done for above mentioned documents with the power of the attorney duly sign and attested by Indian Embassy, given to relative.. Please advice .
