Already Divorced through Masjid, need Divorce Certificate from Court

Dear Sir, My Name is Mohammed, I am Indian Muslim working abroad based from Tamilnadu, my first marriage year 1999 and unavoidable situation divorced through Jamath Masjid on 2001 and that marriage is not registered through Govt. Register Office and not divorced through Court. During that period from 1999 to 2000 my passport renewed and bad luckily, I have included my previous wife name in the passport for spouse column. At present status I have married second also my previous wife married other man and living somewhere in abroad and my major issue is unable to remove previous wife name from passport without legal divorce certificate from court also issue will coming when I going to add my present wife name in the passport and I have issue for making passport for my kids. So many time I have approach previous wife family to get an amicable solution to go through family court get divorce certificate, they are not interested to meet again, and they don’t like to open this subject at any

Hallo... You can approach the family court where your marriage was solemnised. You can file a petition regarding all these, and the court will send a notice to your ex-wife to appear before the court. Though she refuses to appear the court you will get the justice on exparte basis.
