About divorce and child custody. I married my husband in 2007

My husband is an alcoholic. He physically and mentally abuses me. I have a 11 year old daughter and recently because of this I had an affair. He is jobless ans his parents send money to him but we rarely have any help from his side family. He takes money from me for drinking and after he found out abt the affair he now constantly taunts me. I have been married to him for 15 years and I thought that he would improve but no hope. And I am not financial stable for a case. My religion is Hindu. He sometimes shouts unnecessarily, hurts himself etc. Sometimes I am even scared from him

Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned that your husband is alcoholic and so on he is abuses mentally and etc, and therefore you had an affair, in such case what exactly you want you have not mentioned it properly, it is requested to you to kindly share in detail or contact me to discuss your issue.

if u r having problems acording to The Hindu marriage Act is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted in 1955. marriage can be void or u can get the divorce Section 13B(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act, the parties to a marriage might file a petition for dissolution of marriage, by decree of divorce by mutual consent, on the ground that that they have been living separately for a period of one year thanks you
