Abondend my sister from last 4 years

My sister's husband is in australia and I am not sure about his status. From last 4 years he is in australia and doesn't talk to my sister and doesn't make any legal document of her. What should I do

If your sister’s husband has been in Australia for 4 years with no contact or support, this amounts to desertion. She can file for divorce on this ground and also claim maintenance. A legal notice can be sent to his last known address, and the court can proceed ex-parte if he does not appear. She should consult a family lawyer to start the process and protect her rights.
