Since the FIR under Section 498A IPC was registered on 14 July 2025 and the accused persons have not appeared before the police till 15 August 2025 despite being served notices, a final notice has now been issued directing them to appear on 20 August 2025. If they fail to appear even after this final notice, the Investigating Officer may Record their non-cooperation in the case diary, Approach the Magistrate for issuance of a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) and Initiate proclamation proceedings under Section 82 CrPC if they continue to evade investigation, which may ultimately lead to them being declared absconders.
