Want to import in Chennai. do we need to register at Chennai custom ?

We have office in Gurgaon and have got import license, Now question is ,if we import Compressor parts to Chennai, are we suppose to get register at Chennai custom? (as said we have import license) what is time period required for same?
Hi Sir,
The import license is valid for imports throughout India. So you may import any where in India and do not need a special license for the same. That the Customs Tariff Heading (CTH) are the same as well so you shall not face any problem in importing the same in Chennai.
