Fedex Sent a claim for duties of a year old shipment fraudulently

I want to bring to you a concerning case of dual levy of duty for an old shipment. We received an email for payment of duty amount of INR 11173. We paid assuming it was for a current (Mar 2025 ) shipment of similar value(email from authentic FeDEx ID. However, upon later inspection , it was found that this AWB was from April 2024, and the duties for the same were already cleared previously.Now they are not agreeing for refund. I want to sue for refund and mental harrasment

Well, you can send concerned Customs Department a Legal Notice to refund you the excess duty charged, if after sending Legal Notice, they won't refund your excess duty charged, you can file a case against concerned Customs Department or Authority before the Customs Commissioner!
