Women asking for compensation for purse lost in our shop

A lady came to our shop after sometime​ she announced her purse is missing and threatened my workers to return the purse otherwise she would file police complaint . After sometime she returned with police constable to take us to police station. The lady demanded that there were 8000 in her purse and she be compensated the same otherwise she will file fir against salesman of the shop . The thana incharge also supported the lady . Please help as what needs to be done in this case .
has there been any report or FIR filed against anyone of you for theft. you are not responsible for any kind of loss of your customer. is there a CCTV camera in your shop if yes then you can retrieve the data and hand it over to prove your innocence
