When an accused got convicted in a criminal case and files an appeal against that conviction in high court. Along with that appeal accused files an application for suspension of sentence so that he be released from jail during the pendency of appeal. Hon'ble court has issued notice in that application.

Suspension of sentence is a relief that is saught when our appeal after conviction is pending before any appellate court.
