What is the Limitation period for filing under IPC 379

the incident happened in year 2015, with several evidences may I file a criminal case with section 379 theft of house items? Please asist
You should first register an FIR as soon as possible. Since the incident happened in 2015, there is inordinate delay if you file the FIR now and the burden lies upon you to satisfy as to the reason for such delay in filing the said FIR.
