what are legal action against sexual harassment allegation on male?

I am a guy working for an IT Company with 200+ strength at Sr. level and one of my female subordinate has accused me of sexual harassment, so initially my Company told me that as part of process written statements from both would be taken with mine taken yesterday in presence of 1 HR representative and 2 persons from the sexual harassment committee, I was told verbally after this that this would be followed by cross-examinations and also cross examining any witnesses and a fair chance will be given to me. But today suddenly the HR Director told me that I am being put on 'Suspended leave' on full pay basis with my laptop taken away and am being told not to report for work. The thing which is troubling me more is him on hinting that the Co. might take decision based on their 'Zero tolerance policy' and there might be no cross-examinations so asking you can a Company take such course of action? Also, isn't there any onus on complainant to provide evidence? can I fight this?
