Was in a relationship with a boy his mother threatened and abused me

I had a relationship with a guy for over 2 years which was a pretty serious one. We had planned of getting married. But as my boyfriend disclosed his mother that he was in love with me, the mother started to create troubles for both of us. As such she is an arrogant and illiterate woman. She created a lot of scene. And one day she made her son break up with me. By mentally tortouring him and pressurising him. Also his mother abused me on call and threatened me on certain grounds. After that there is no contact between us. That abusive call has left a big impact on me. Can i take any action?
