Unsound minded person attempting to harm

If a person below 16 age try to harm someone with deadly weapon like knife in unsound mind then what could be the punishment given by court?

The person who is a minor will be treated under the juvenile justice act. But in every case, there are so many things to reach at the point where someone gets the punishment. In every case, there is a procedure of law there is trail , evidence, examination of witnesses, examination of accused, cross examination, argument, judgment, etc.
