Under what circumstances does after acquittal arrest warrant is issued

If a person is acquitted if February 2015. Yesterday again a couple of police officers paid a visit to our home stating that arrest warrant has again been issued. Under what circumstances does after acquittal arrest warrant is issued?
In many cases appeals are filed by the state or affected parties, so in that case in case the court has accepted the appeal,then the accused even though acquitted has to file fresh bail bonds. so that might be the case.

Your question is quite interesting. Arrest warrant can be issued if in appeal judgment of acquittal is reveresed by ld. Court or you or your counsel is not appearing before ld. Appellate court despite of service to you. Or u ve committed some other offence.
