Text consent sexting without photo video on insta done before 1 year

A text based sexting i done with my gf in 2024 , september 2024 consensual full no photo video audio media involved, we both after sexting had 5 months mutual relationship happy . WE NEVER MET EACH OTHER IN REAL LIFE ,never exchanged phone number, never talked on video or audio call . she will turn 18 years this December 2025 , and I have no contact for 10 month with her , when I will be completely safe from legal risk

There is no risk at all, don't worry. Just forget the matter and move on. The text messages are not coming under the heinous offence, and if it is not continued then no chance of crime anymore. as you have stated that the communication was 10 months ago, there must not be any chance of allegation from that side. though molestation charges can be drawn up as against you, but if there is no specific allegation from the girls side, so there is no case.

Since the incident happened in 2024 and was only text-based — with no photo, video, or audio communication — the legal risk is minimal. However, as the girl was a minor at that time, you must avoid any further contact or communication until she turns 18. As you have already stopped contact for several months, you are presently in a safe legal position.
