S. 376 IPC (false promise of marriage): If he induced you into a physical relationship by falsely promising marriage without genuine intention to marry, you may file an FIR. Preserve chats, calls, photos, and other evidence. Recovery of money: You can send a legal notice and file a recovery case/criminal complaint for cheating regarding the money transferred through cash and UPI. Proceed against family members only if there is evidence of their involvement.

You have specific legal remedy of section 69 of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. Most important ingredient of which should be that marriage was the condition for sex, if you both were in relationship and during the course of time both of you decided to marry and later on your boyfriend decline then it is no offence. You may refer the judgement of Hon'ble Supreme Court given in Ravish Singh Rana Vs State of Uttarakhand, 2025.

With respect to the facts you can file criminal as well as civil cases. Sexual intercourse with women by making a false promise to marriage is an offence under Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita. Case can be filed under Criminal breach of trust, cheating with regard to the money borrowed by him and can produce the account records and UPI transactions as evidence.
