Suicide attempt in my boyfried wife

I have a boyfriend he is married boyfriend means best friend this relationship knew his wife, his wife going to suicide attempt, any criminal case cahrge in my name

It will depend upon the nature of the complaint if any filed by that person. You have to take steps to file complaints against her also lawyer notice against your boyfriend if you were not aware of her boyfriend

Your relationship or friendship with a married man is not a criminal offence by itself. A case can arise only if there is clear evidence that you instigated, provoked, harassed, or mentally pressured his wife in a manner that directly led her to attempt suicide, which is required to attract Section 306 IPC (Abetment of Suicide). Mere emotional involvement or friendship, even if known to the wife, does not amount to a crime, and 498A or Domestic Violence Act provisions do not apply to you, as they are limited to husband and his relatives. Unless there are messages, calls, threats, or actions from your side showing direct encouragement of the suicide attempt, no criminal liability can be sustained against you
