submission mobile with sim card as evidence allowed in criminal case

In a case u/s 506&509,whether petitioner is allowed to file a mobile phone without SIM Card as evidence during proceedings(Charge sheet didn't had any details regarding mobile,sim card used etc).?
as per section 65B of the evidence act and new amended laws the sim card without phone couldn't be considered as evidence if an evidence to be marked in criminal law in a electronic form must be supported by hard copies and the original soft copy to be also submitted
