What if someone falsely claims to be Below poverty line(BPL). Is that a criminal offence or a civil offence? It there any kind of legal trouble if caught?
If someone claims falsely to lie below BPL then he can be criminally incriminated for using false & forged documents to avail the benefits given by the government to this category. His all privileges used by him will be terminated also
