if only fine is imposed then you are fully eligible for the job as per the avtar singh judgment in 323 I.P.C and if imprisoned then you have no chance for government job it is my sincere advice to you to settle the dispute with the other party mutually and make sure that prosecution witness should be hostile at the time of recording of statement.
